Last night the two administrators of this page were on air on the Ray Rossi show on NJ 101.5. We were ridiculed and bullied. However, Mr. Rossi went a step further and stated, on air, untrue, hurtful, statements about page administrator Martin Mondoker. When this was brought to the attention of Eric Johnson, program director, it resulted in a quick call to Martin with a verbal apology on behalf of the station and followed up with a written apology from Mr. Rossi, published to Sammy’s page. The comments made on Mr. Rossi’s show and those made on the Dennis and Judy show undermine causes we think are important—justice for a maimed abused dog, and promoting stronger animal abuse laws and penalties. And, thanks to Sammy’s friends for letting NJ101.5 know how you felt when they asked, 'Do you feel the animal rights activists who’ve traveled for miles to get justice for Sammy the cocker spaniel have their priorities mixed up? "Overwhelming response, NO!!!! Following is Ray Rossi’s apology, which we have yet to see posted on the NJ 101.5 Facebook page, nor have received apologies from Judi Franco and Dennis Malloy.

I would like to take this time to apologize for some things that were said about Martin that had nothing to do with his position on seeking justice for Sammy the cocker spaniel.

Ann Zuccardy: I'm wondering where folks do their business checking and what standard fees you incur. I opened an account at VSECU ( a local credit union) when I started my business. There used to be very little activity on the account, but now that I am getting busier, I've been getting charged $7 a pop for "excessive withdrawal fees". Is this common practice with business accounts? Though I know doing business locally is cool, I am not feeling the local love and thinking about shopping around non-locally for a better deal.

Senator Dick Durbin: Over the years, we have made serious efforts to pass comprehensive immigration reform, but we have never been able to succeed. I believe this time is different. The bipartisan bill the Judiciary Committee approved yesterday is the product of months of negotiations and weeks of debate. This bill reforms a badly broken immigration system by strengthening border security, reforming our legal immigration system and creating a tough but fair path to citizenship. Yesterday’s committee passage is an important step toward real and lasting reform. To those who feel Congress is broken, the bipartisan majority in the Senate Judiciary Committee gives me hope that immigration reform is the indication of a new day. I look forward to next month’s debate before the full Senate and to seeing this bill pass Congress this year.

Why racist, nasty comments are better than none at all I cannot imagine my life without the internet. I read newspapers and blogs online, I do Facebook and Twitter, I Google and email many times every day. But I struggle to deal with the one nasty by-product: people who vent every nasty racist, sexist, homophobic thought or vicious personal insult that enters their heads on the internet. My view is that this "freedom where anything goes" undermines free speech because it renders many spaces useless as places for debate and exchange of ideas. News24.com is a good example. I think it would help if websites insist that people use their real identities. But perhaps it is all just inevitable and I have to make peace with it, as this site argues. What do you think?

Sorry but what gives you the right to make dealers look bad? This is a hot topic for me! Every used car is different and unique in their own way. Who are you to tell consumers what is fair priced and what is not fair priced? You never retailed a vehicle a single day in your life. I get it that you are an internet entrepreneur and you are successful but no one ever gave you a right to make dealers look bad. I was recently a involved in a transaction where the consumer went to your site after being on others and was refusing to come in to buy a used 2008 Scion xB because you said that the price was too high. You did not factor in your searches that all Scion xB vehicles had 75k+ miles and this one had 30k. You treated this 30k mile vehicle like the others. If you removed that one piece of technology you will never be blamed again. I understand it is all about the consumer. But automotive dealers have a tough time trying to prove that they are not the bad guys. It is actions like the ones caused by your company that gives automotive retailing a bad name.
The only way to be successful with your product is to always be aggressive which will cause competitors to be more aggressive and it becomes a rat race for who sells the car the cheapest. All I am saying is to quit make dealers look bad. You deserve every bit of chance to be in the automotive space because more inventory means more visibility and ultimately more sales opportunities but do it right. Don't do it like a failure that previously sold cars and couldn't hack it so they go out and try to make the industry look bad!
