Timeline Photos As campaign season is in full swing I want to discourage any of my supporters from participating in negative campaigning or mudslinging. I know that my parents did not raise me to disrespect others, even in politics. What Buddy and Brenda Allen did teach me was to stand up for what I believe is right and there has been some information put out on my opponent’s campaign card that is inaccurate. I want everyone to know the truth and the real facts.
1. I never worked for the Park Service. I worked for the Army Corps of Engineers (two entirely different federal departments)
2. Ina Police Department is a 5 man department. (4 sworn and 1 Police Chaplain)
3. I worked for Dupont Pioneer for 2 years and 2 months.
4. It is true that I quit these jobs and each time was to better myself and my family.
Also my opponent addressed the fact that I only have 1 child. This is true and Angel and I love Jake, my son, very much. My wife and I have been together since I was 15 years old, and would love to have more children. For those of you who didn’t know Jake was diagnosed with Autism. We have to devote all of our time to Jake because of his special needs and we hope someday to have more children but right now we have to do what is best for Jake. I do not like discussing this publicly because it has been very hard on our family and it truly hurt Angel and I when we saw this printed on my opponent’s card. These are the facts — with Debbie Allen Smith and 14 others.
