Mobile Uploads This is some kick butt rodeo music from back in the days. How many of y'all still have these?
This is a hard to find still sealed double cassette featuring many great songs and interviews with many of the top stars in rodeo. Randy Corley does a heck of a job interviewing all these people and this is a history lesson of rodeo especially since some of the people interviewed are no longer with us. The songs include: God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood, Freckles Brown by Red Steagall and the Coleman County Cowboys, National Finals Rodeo by Chris LeDoux, The Last Rodeo by Kix Brooks, Everything that Glitters is not gold by Dan Seals, Rainbow Rider by Tanya Tucker, Whatcha Gonna Do with a Cowboy by Chris LeDoux and Garth Brooks, Rodeo Baby by John Topper, All Around Cowboy by Marty Robbins, Rodeo Eyes by Zella Lehr, Mesquite Cowboy Mind by Doug Supernaw, Someday Soon by Suzy Boggus, Texas in 1880 by Foster and Lloyd and Rodeo Road by Roy Rogers and Willie Nelson. Randy Corley does great interviews with Guy Allen, Allen Bach, Jake Barnes, Ace Berry, Mel Coleman, Roy Cooper, Clint Corey, Jerome Davis, Billy, Danny and Robert Etbauer, Bruce Ford, Marvin Garrett, Don Gay, Duane Hargo, Bobby Harris, Lecile Harris, Monty Henson, Charmayne James, John W. Jones, Jr., Cody Lambert, Brent Lewis, Phil Lyne, Harley May, Pake McEntire, Ty Murray, Butch Myers, Ted Nuce, Charles Pogue, Jim Shoulders, Fred Whitfield and Rodeo clown Rick Young. My personal highlights of this collection include Red Steagall singing his famous song about Freckles Brown riding Tornado, Hearing Pake McEntire telling some stories about sister Reba and hearing Hawkeye Henson tell a story that will bring you to tears. You can't even begin to call yourself a rodeo fan without having this set. The Etbauers give each other a hard time, Bruce Ford tells some stories on himself and Harley May and Mel Coleman tell some early rodeo stories.
