Help! I have a two year old blue male with severe allergies (at least that's what I think it is). It's is localized to his face...very dry and itchy to the point he cuts his face from scratching so much and he's lost most of the fur on his face and behind his ears. It's incessant. I've tried steroids, antibiotics, change in diet, ointments, creams, and moisturizers. I'll try anything!

Well this is of the time when I was very small... I stay in a joint family. So once I was playing at my cousin's place in the afternoon... suddenly I fell and the sofa hit my stomach.... my cousin who was around 16 that time he said come I will press it and the pain will go. I being innocent dint understand what he meant.... he held me and made me sit on the sofa and started pressing my breasts.. I really dint understand what was happening... this went on for a long time.... I ne day we had a small birthday party and we kids were playing hide n seek... so this cousin of mine said im getting bored so he took me to the terrace and said come we will play doctor doctor and he made me lie on the floor and removed my lowers and started licking my private part..... n simultaneously asking me can I feel anything I kept saying no. He kept licking sucking n biting it till it hurt me and some strange feeling came..... he stopped only wen my part started bleeding by his bites...... I was hurt badly.... this things happened for couple of years... he used to have sex with me he used to bite my nipples. This stopped after he got married.... and because of all this I hate sex and im not able to agree with my parents to get married.... the worse part is..... I still live in a joint family and everyday I have to see n talk to my cousin as if nothing has happened

Despite what many on the left think, a confrontation with Iran is inevitable, if our goal is to truly keep nuclear arms out of Iran's hands. Perhaps we should get it done with now. Destroy Iran's ally in Syria, Assad, while at the same time striking a critical blow to Hezbollah, another one of Iran's allies. The negatives to this option are obvious of course. Loss of lives and loss of money, for a result we cannot truly predict in the first place. Honestly, I keep going back and forth between thinking we should intervene and finally do something, or leave it be and only provide humanitarian assistance when needed.

How do mommas deal with an SO who's bipolar and won't take his meds? Or if your bipolar how can I help him? I wake up with him every morning at 4:45 (he's military) and hand him the meds. If I watch to make sure he takes them or check up in him about taking them he gets mad. Sometimes he takes them simetimes he doesn't. He's admitted they din't make him feel drugged or sick no real reason to not take them when he's in a good mood. We've been married two years and I don't know how much more I can take. Previously I found out he just smoked a lot of weed and I didn't realize how bad he could get and he obviously can't do that now (at the time I didn't kniw he did drugs even tho we'd been together 3yrs). Anyways when he's off of them for an extended period of time or goes on and off of them he freaks out. He went as far as filling out seperation papers he yells and screams throws things tells me to get out and take the kids that he hates us all (never in front if them they're usually sleeping or I put them in their room for a movie). He used to get to the point that he'd push me or even hit me a couple times but all that stopped. He's never mean to the kids which is good. I just don't want to leave someone I love so much over something like an illness he can't help cause when he's in them he's an amazing husband father etc. I'm just soo lost and heartbroken over the cruel things he says to me and have to get over for when he's in his good moods... sorry so long but any advice?

It’s as if they didn’t learn a thing from the 2012 elections. Republicans are on the same suicide mission as before - - trying to block immigration reform (if they can’t scuttle it in the Senate, they’re ready to in the House), roll back the clock on abortion rights (they’re pushing federal and state legislation to ban abortions in the first 22 weeks), and stop gay marriage wherever possible. Yet America is becoming more ethnically diverse, women are gaining economic and political power, and young people are more socially libertarian than ever before.
Why can’t Republicans learn? Because the Republican base is entrenched in certain states that are older, whiter, and more rural than the rest of America than rest of the country; and senators and representatives from these states naturally reflect the dominant views of their constituents — which are increasingly out of step with where most of the nation is heading. Despite all the post-election rhetoric about the necessity for change emanating from GOP leaders who aspire to the national stage, the national stage isn’t really what the GOP is most interested in or attuned to. It’s directed inward rather than outward, to its state constituents rather than to the nation.
This structure also blocks any would-be “New Republicans” such as Chris Christie from gaining the kind of power inside the party that a New Democrat like Bill Clinton received in 1992. The greater likelihood is a steady eclipse of the Republican Party at the national level, even as it becomes more entrenched in particular states. The GOP’s national role will be primarily negative — seeking to block, delay, and filibuster measures that will eventually become the law of the land in any event, while simultaneously preaching “states’ rights” and praying for conservative majorities on the Supreme Court. In other words, more of the same.
