The 5th Major starts on Thursday!! First round will be at Royal Jersey Golf Club and the second round on Friday at Les Mielles Golf & Country Club.
Local spectators and reminded that extra parking will be available on Gorey Pier and and shuttle service will be taking people to the course! As for for Friday a capacity crown is expected so there will be no parking available and everyone is asked to park in the sand dunes car park or Le Bray where a shuttle service will be available again!

David Moskowitz: Audition for a new Nickelodeon show went great! Part was a rendition of the Curly character from the Three Stooges. It's a five-and-under, meaning five lines or less. Anyways, didn't know if I could pull off mimicking such a legendary, ingeniously funny character. But did loads of research watching YouTube clips of the ORIGINAL Curly, and even the pilot episode of the Nick show to get a flavor for it (not bad writing for a kids show, actually!). Thanks to my theatrical agent, Rakelle, for garnering thus audition for me!

So, there's a website floating around that allegedly offers original music for you to buy and release as your own. Why is this a big deal? It's been going on for years behind the curtains. Yes, your favorite "DJ" probably doesn't write his own music. Who cares really? The industry is full of one hit wonders, who just want a quick shot to the top but success is earned and not bought.
Maybe you are tempted to take this approach yourself and maybe you should. People will probably like "your track" but then you will find yourself having to follow up the same level of success. Not having produced it yourself you will quickly realize the stress level involved in having to live up to the expectations.
Have you ever liked a track by a newcomer which took the charts by storm and then had a big "WTF" on your face when the follow up single came out, you know the one that sounded NOTHING like the first? Well, yeah ...
Bottom line, just fucking do it yourself and you will be better off in the long haul.

The Busy Mom:
I miss the days of good TV. (At least I thought it was good.) Remember Saturday morning cartoons? Then the other day I put a DVD on of a "good" movie that I watched as a kid and just about died --- because I finally GET the innuendoes. No wonder my mom didn't like them. Oh yeah. I get it now.
Not sure why our seven year olds need to watch "cartoons" about dating and breaking up ... childhood is so fleeting. I hope our kids get to soak up as much of the innocence as they can.
Long live Veggie Tales, Road Runner, Tom and Jerry, Little House on the Prairie and the original Mickey Mouse Club. Okay, rant is over. Carry on. :)

The Wall Lacrosse Club will be offering FREE lacrosse clinics to all Wall youth boys entering grades 3-8 in September!
You do not need to be a Wall Lacrosse Club player -- all are welcome, especially those wanting to learn the game of lacrosse!
Where: 18th Ave. fields
Time: 6-8pm
When: Every Wednesday, starting June 19th
through August 28. (no clinic 6/26)
Attendees will be placed in appropriate age groups for instruction.
In addition to our own WLC coaches, we will have some of the area's leading lacrosse coaches as guest instructors...
*** Jon Rodak (Trilogy Lacrosse)...will be here on June 19th.***
***Chris Knight (Wall HS Boys Head Lacrosse Coach) will be there with his High School Players July 3,10 and 17th****
*** Also scheduled include Nick Caruso (Leading Edge), Tom Duerr (Mad Dog Lacrosse) ...all willing to donate their time to our players and to the betterment of the sport ***
