Melissa Hardesty Garner: What is it about a bath that I cannot get right? The urge to relax in the dark with candles and bubbles sounds so inviting until I actually get in and can't breathe because it is so damn hot! What is the point of bath if you r sweating? I will never learn.

New York City Part II:
I am so excited to be heading back to New York City this weekend! I will be attending a two-day writing workshop that is being put on by Hay House Publishing. One of my favorite authors Kris Carr will be there speaking. I also get to hang out/am staying with my friends Nick and Gayle (one of my other favorite authors). And to totally make this a mind-blowing weekend...Nick, Aaron and I are going to get together to play the old Redmond Shooting Stars songs once again (hope we can remember them). What more could a gal ask for?!

Prayers for Mikey - Finding an Answer:
Little man ended up being hungry yesterday. Ate half a SteakUms cheeseburger for dinner, and a whole slice of potato bread, though he did have a small vomit episode immediately after finishing dinner that brought most of dinner back up. A few donut holes as a bedtime snack, and it turned out to be a pretty good eating day.
Today he did a whole GoGurt at breakfast, fruit snacks at morning snack. An apple cherry GoGoSqueeze applesauce, over 3/4ths of a cheeseburger, all of a happy meal French fry, and all but two of the happy meal apple slices for lunch. Sipped on a large portion of a medium Hot Chocolate Coolatta with mommy shortly before lunch. Conned Daddy into believing he was starving while dinner is being fixed so he ate a cheese stick and some Chester's butter puff corn prior to dinner.
Another big eating day, it seems, and plenty of drinking, too. Watching Despicable Me while we eat dinner, so update later on how he eats dinner.
Seems to be feeling a bit better with his antibiotics almost done (last dose tonight!) and all the sleep he's been getting. So glad we went to the doc early over this!
Just 2 days until he turns 3! Praying for continuing to feel better, and continuing to increase appetite and eating. Praise God for his health!

Law Enforcement WTF! Moments:
Thing you never say to a cop:
Anyone else have good ones?
1. I can't reach my license unless you hold my beer.
2. Sorry, Officer, I didn't realize my radar detector wasn't plugged in.
3. Aren't you that guy from the Village People?
4. Hey, you must have been doin' at least 120 mph to keep up with me...Good job!
5. Excuse me...is stick up hyphenated?
6. I thought you had to be in relatively good physical condition to be a cop.
7. I almost decided to be a cop, but I decided to finish high school instead.
8. Bad cop! No donut!
9. You're not gonna check the trunk, are you?
10. Gee, that gut sure doesn't inspire confidence.
11. Didn't I see you get your ass kicked on COPS?
12. Wow, you look just like the guy in the picture on my girlfriend's nightstand.
13. Is it true that people become cops because they're too dumb to work at McDonald's?
14. I pay your salary!
15. So, uh, you on the take, or what?
16. Gee, Officer...that's terrific...the last officer only gave me a warning too!
17. Do you know why you pulled me over? Okay, just so one of us does.
18. I was trying to keep up with traffic. Yes, I know there are no other cars around-that's how far ahead of me they are.
19. What do you mean, "Have I been drinking?" You're the trained specialist.
20. Well, when I reached down to pick up my bag of crack, my gun fell off my lap and got lodged between the brake pedal and the gas pedal, forcing me to speed out of control.
21. Hey, is that a 9 mm? That's nothing compared to this .44 Magnum.
22. Hey, can you give me another one of those full cavity searches?

Bill Moseley: another day, another donut- make that a (crunchy) peanut butter & (Welch's grape) jelly sandwich out by the Frickfaw, or was that the Frackjaw...nope, the Tickfaw River on Heavenly Lane amidst the cypress knees and the pizzin ivy. Short day today, long day tomorrow. It all evens out in the movie business, know what I mean? Rental car (white Impala) w/ air-conditioning(!) playing my favorite album (Love, Forever Changes) cruising along the freeway through the ancient oaks and Spanish moss.

Tammy Horsman Sundberg: Wow, what a day !!! Has anyone ever had a screwed up day like mine? My daughter called and needed me to take her grocery shopping and to the clinic. I went outside got in my car, proceeded to drive out of driveway and I had a flat tire. I haven't changed a flat tire in years, but I managed to get the donut tire on with alot of pain and sweat, then realized there was only 5 pounds of air in the donut tire. Then I couldn't find my car keys, which also had my house keys attached and the house was locked, looked all over, and found them on the hood of my car. Made it to a gas station to put air in tire and the air pump needed money, it was then I realized I left my debit card at home and had no money, thank god another gas station didn't need money for air. Got to my daughters, went back home to get my debit card, made it to the clinic and the grocery store and then my daughters debit card wouldn't work at the grocery store, saying she didn't have enough money when she did, we ran that card must of been 10 times, turns out the lady was entering the wrong dollar amount. Got to the pharmacy to pick up daughters precription and it wasn't ready, ice melting in the trunk of my car, we waited a half hour for them to tell us they were out of that medicine and have to order it. Mind you, it was about an hour and a half that they had the prescription, because we went grocery shopping first. I was pretty upset, but couldn't do anything about it. Get my daughter home and realize, where the hell are my expensive sun glasses. I retraced every step I made looking for those sunglasses, my daughters house, the clinic, the grocery store, the pharmacy and where I put air in my tire. I was just irate, because I knew I left the house with my sunglasses, yet no one had them. Finally, I get home, there were my sunglasses on my desk, because when I came back home the second time to get my debit card I left them lay on my desk. OMG, I've just had it with this day !!!

Tammy Biesk: Well my sister-in-law took my kids for a week. The first day I called my daughter to tell her I miss her and she didn't even want to talk to me. Well that made me upset and wanted to cry. Today is the third day, and no phone call from them. Tears! On the flip side, I haven't had to say: Did you make your bed? Have you brushed your teeth? Did you put deodorant on? Pizza is not for breakfast! Make your bed! Please pick up clothes! etc.. My house has been clean since they have left and haven't had to break up any fight either. So Jolyn can you keep them for another week? LOL! Im teasing I really do miss them, couldn't live without them. Thank you Jolyn for giving me a break it has been very nice.
