Vicki Roberts-Independent Beachbody Coach:
I am struggling today while I pack for one of the most unforgettable trips I will ever take in my life...
There is one outfit that I am fighting with... for a photo shoot. I sit here and think it's ridiculous to have an insecurity about something that I cannot change, not matter how hard I try. I am scared to be judged based upon what I choose or even afraid of backing out due to the fact of my fear.
Everyone has their moments, where the regret a step that shouldn't have happened in their life, well I have come to terms with mine, it's the fact that I treated my own body so badly for far too long.
Well as a human, we need to conquer these fears, or these will be the things that lead us in the wrong direction. I need to face this fear, not care about being judged, and not care about the fact I cannot change this.
I am vowing that this next week, I will be stepping out of my comfort zone... I will face my fears and beat my insecurities. Because if I don't, I am admitting that it's not okay to show a flawed body, that perfection is smooth, and tight and untouchable.
Perfection doesn't exist, it's in out minds and not our hearts. I will let my pride overcome any insecurity that I have, the fact that I have literally worked my ass off to get where I am, marks and all!
I am going to conquer my fears!

The DC Bound ECC youth group fundraiser garage sale at our house. We had so much stuff. Thanks everyone for your donations and help. The kids did a great job of hosting, we raised $1,800 for the trip but I'm glad it's over and we have our garage back again.

Gun Rights: I just saw this guy provide a link to a study that says that houses that have guns in them are more likely to have gun accidents than houses that don't have guns in them, and acted like it was justification for gun control. First off, I don't know why there would need to be a study on this to confirm something that is common sense. Anyone with a functioning brain could tell you that. That's like saying people who eat chicken wings daily are more likely to die from choking on a chicken wing than vegans. Or people that drive motorcycles are more likely to be in a crash involving motorcycles than people who drive cars. It's common sense, but it doesn't justify any new gun laws. The majority of accidents caused by death occur from car crashes, swimming pools, poisonings, and falling.

Hopefully it will go better than last night in Atlanta...power outage and cowering in a dark basement for 30 minutes...yikes!

Timeline Photos If you were a medic over in Iraq, there's no reason why Ohio shouldn't make it easier for you to get certified as an EMT. Or if you drove trucks in Kandahar, why should you be stuck going through all kinds of red tape to drive a truck on I-71? Yesterday I signed an Executive Order that will make it easier for our veterans to get certified for the jobs they're able and ready to take on. Ohio is there for its veteran community. We've got your back. http://www.10tv.com/content/stories/2013/06/11/columbus-kasich-order-will-reward-veterans-for-experience.html

If you are a runner, share with us what about the program you feel helped you achieve that and how you used the programs as a part of your running training. We can all benefit from your knowledge!

Leslie Baird Bradd: Proud of Garrett! He has been working past two weeks while home for the summer and now can relate to Loren when he comes home from work and needs to relax :). Garrett had the day off and decided to go to Seattle to see a friend and enjoy the day. As tired as he was when he came home he still managed to shoot hoops with the little boy next door when he came over to ask if he could play :). So cute! Garrett couldn't say no.....and he made the little boys night!

Dennis Rodman speaks the truth:“LeBron came into the age of the game at a perfect time. Michael came into the game when back then you could hit people, knock him down, shoot a free throw and get back up,” Rodman said. “And LeBron can’t do that. All they do today is (complain) about a foul. All they do is (complain).”
Rodman believes his best Bulls team would easily defeat James’ Heat.
“It would be no contest. The Heat has better talent than we had, but we had smarter players,” Rodman said. “That’s the only thing we had, smarter players. … I would take Bosh out of his damn game easy. That’s not even a problem. And how would Dwyane Wadematch up with Scottie Pippen? Really? And Scottie Pippen would guard LeBron easy. And how are you going to cover those two guys (Jordan and Pippen)?”

The Pioneer Woman - Ree Drummond: On a non-food front, on today's episode I think I was trying to go for the Laura Ingalls/prairie look with my blouse. Also, I washed my hair and curled it, then I wound up putting it in a ponytail because it wasn't cooperating and I had wings sticking out of the side. I put on makeup and perfume. Then, after I got the food started, I headed to the pens to help out and I wound up getting dirt and manure all over me. So for the second half of the show, I look a little disheveled. Enjoy! Haha.
