Today's verse comes at the end of the servant poem, which was a prophecy of Jesus' death of the sacrificial Servant points out His glory and the eternal blessings of those who accept Him. The image here is of the victorious conqueror sharing th victory with his allies. But it came at a great price. Jesus was numbered with the transgressors in that while innocent, He was charged with the sins of mankind and so bore their penalty. But Jesus didn't stop there. Not only did He suffer and die for sinners, but He also took on the role of Intercessor for them. Imagine having to pray for those who not only despised you, but also crucified you! Yet Jesus prayed for the Father to forgive them as He was doing the very thing upon which their forgiveness, ad the forgiveness of others, was to be founded His death on the Cross. He paid the ultimate price, and it is becasue of His sacrifice and His sacrifice alone that we can have eternal life when we put our trust in Him. We have a fresh start and a second chance because He loved us. Jesus died for the sins of the world, but He also died for our sins individually. It was our sin that put Him on the Cross. He has won the victory, and we have the chance to share in that victory as we put our trust in Him. Lord, thank You for what You have done for me through the sacrifice of Your Son. I pray that I will be able to do as He commanded and take up my cross daily and follow Him. Amen

And yesterday you again defined to the world what it takes to build your success: At Ontulili high school we awarded the teachers,students and parents who helped us build the school to become number 2 in Meru county and number 17 in Kenya. We also commissioned the Ontulili bore hole, put the Buuri 2012 A students on the Buuri Education Welfare payroll and did a lot more...then came the rain...For about 6 hours hundreds of Ontulili students, the Buuri M.P., neighbours, teachers and parents struggled with about 100 vehicles stuck in the mud. So as we embark to build the Buuri roads and do more for Buuri, we know the pains and the joys we've shared. I love you Buuri. The Gracious LORD Bless you all.

The attention of the New Patriotic Party has been drawn to certain statements, in a spate of just 3 days, made by President John Dramani Mahama and Felix Kwakye Ofosu, deputy Information Minister, all to the effect that that Supreme Court will declare that the NDC, and for that matter John Dramani Mahama, won the December 2012 polls “cleanly.”
For John Mahama, who is the 1st respondent in the presidential election petition, to come out emphatically state that the Supreme Court judges will show that he won “cleanly in free and fair elections” is deeply unfortunate.
As though this enough Felix Kwakye Ofosu, deputy Minister of Information, has bet his life that the NPP will lose the election petition currently before the Supreme Court.
The NPP would like to make it clear to the president and government spokespersons to refrain from making such reckless statements intended to bring the administration of justice into disrepute
The President should respect the doctrine of separation of powers, the independence of the judiciary and the responsibilities of parties not to make prejudicial statements in cases that they are involved in which are before the court.
His statement that the judges will rule in his favour was irresponsible, disrespectful of the judiciary, prejudicial to the election petition and designed to intimidate the nine judges hearing the petition.
President Mahama should stop making any such further statements calculated to put undue pressure on the court to rule in his favour.
The interest of the nation in this case should serve enough notice to him that Ghanaians expect nothing less than JUSTICE!

Body: I feel like this wave of "anti-religion" is getting out of hand. If you don't like that it says "In God We Trust" on the bill who cares? Don't read it. If you don't like when people pray, don't pray with them.
Athetism is the absence of believing in a higher power --why does it need to be some unashamed bashing of people who do? No one is prosecuting you for not believing, no one is hurting you and torturing you for not converting to their religion, so go on your merry way. Instead of fighting to REMOVE God from everything, why don't you just ignore his name and the concept of him? Let believers believe. If they need to read "In God We Trust" to feel comforted, then let them, and revel in the fact that you don't need that to be self-assured.
